A more personal way of blogging - revamping my style

Hi. Yes, it's me. I'm still here.

When I first started blogging, I was a book blogger. I love reading and reviewing books, but now that I'm a part-time author, I need to focus on other things. I also wrote about Irish dance and my journey to fitness. I will still blog about both on a regular basis, but it will be more personal, and more beneficial to those of you who follow me.

When I published my debut novel, I only used this blog to do shout outs for other authors who are publishing quality books. But I now realize that this type of "commercial" posting isn't interesting, and it doesn't help me connect with you--the people I write this blog for in the first place.

It used to be my goal to post once per week, at least. I'm going to scale back and post 3-4 times per month, filling you in on what is going on in my life with kids, reading, Irish dance, and publishing. And I'll be sure to pass on any sage wisdom I learn along the way.

Thanks for sticking it out with me and coming along for the ride!
